The Lee County School District have filled two of their high school principal vacancies.

Neketa Watson has been named the first-ever principal of the future high school in Gateway, currently designated as “School MMM”. A name for the school should be chosen sometime in the near future.

Watson was serving as the principal at Lehigh Acres Middle School.

Additionally, the school district has promoted Christian Engelhart from Assistant Principal at Cape Coral High School to become the school’s next principal.

We will have more information about each of these appointments soon.
